If your settings are configured to require at least 1 customer-type to prepay online, you are required to set up a direct deposit account. (NOTE: by default New Customers are required to prepay when booking online and Returning Customers do not have to prepay to book online).
If a customer prepays online and you have not set up a direct deposit account, Unbooked will hold the payment for 14 days. You will get an email notification telling you that must setup your direct deposit account within 14 days in order to receive your customer's payment in your account.
If your settings are configured to NOT require prepayment from New or Returning customers then you are not required to set up a direct deposit account at this time. Click here to see how to configure your settings to not require prepay from any customers.
